Guidelines for Manuscript Submission

  1. The manuscripts published in the KDI Journal of Economic Policy are creative academic papers on all areas of economics that contain implications on Korea’s economic policies.
  2. Manuscripts that have been published in other journals, translations of such manuscripts, or summaries will not be accepted.
  3. Manuscripts with one theme will be published in one volume.
  4. No particular qualifications are required for the author(s) shown in the title page.
  5. Decision for publication will be sent out after due review process by the KDI Journal of Economic Policy Board of Editors.
  6. Authors of papers that contain empirical work or simulations must provide KDI full data sets, programs, or any other computational details in electronic formats that are sufficient to enable replication by the reviewers. In case of econometric or simulation papers, it is recommended that authors include in their submissions a description of how intermediate data sets have been employed to produce the final data sets.
  7. To ensure the integrity, dissemination, and copyright protection of published articles, you will be asked to assign the copyright of your Article to the KDI Journal of Economic Policy, KDI, Sejong via a Publishing Agreement. The Article is the final, definitive, and citable Version of Record, and includes: the accepted manuscript in its final form including the abstract, text, bibliography, and all accompanying tables, illustrations, data, and any supplemental material. The Publishing Agreement will constitute the entire agreement and the sole understanding between KDI Journal of Economic Policy, KDI, Sejong and you; under the Agreement, no amendments, addendums, or other forms of communication will be taken into account when interpreting the rights and obligations of either party.
  8. Please submit Korean manuscripts in Hangul Word Processor (HWP) format and English manuscripts in Microsoft Word format.
